Rumor has spread that Baroness Isobel McKinney has arrived in Seedorf by way of small carriage and accompanying guardsman. Lady Abendroth has housed the Baroness within the Keep and assures Seedorf that there is no cause for alarm, but celebration..as the Lady Isobel McKinney has come in good tidings and biddings.
Little is known of the Baroness except that she governs a small plot of country far north of Seedorf in the icy recesses of Winter Haven, named after the year-around chill and ice capped mountain tops that lay distant to the city. Little else is known, but rumors fly about the porches of Seedorf as elder women knit and whisper.
" The Baroness got that title from sleeping with half the noble court til the Baron wedded her. Killed him dead, she did..but kept the seat.. no one cared to fight her for it.. So says Mildred...who heard it from the baker..when the baker was talking to Milton the Smith about what his brother heard two nights past.."
Rumors hold some truth but to what extent, no one knows.. Only that a lady has arrived of noble standing and has already had her Waiting Lady post Isobel's desire for work.
More to come as more is known.
