There has been a decrease in reports regarding those man-sized spiders that had been spotted.. some villagers speculate that the blizzard Seedorf has just suffered is the cause of these sightings becoming less and less. Others argue that the Nachtwald is gearing up for an attack on the unsuspecting.
Rumors fly but there are no real facts to be found; except that the spiders seem to have retreated.. Whether forever or until the snow clears is yet to be seen.
On the subject of the brutal Seedorf winter..a blizzard has dumped two feet of snow on the small village; the river has nearly frozen across which has made travel by boats a headache and in some places down right impossible.
Nothing is simple in this sleepy village, with the snow there has always been a thickening of the fog that seems to continually be pouring out of the Nachtwald's dark borders, the land is covered, houses enclosed and people shrouded. Visibility has decreased to one measley foot ahead. Those traveling at night are cautioned to use their voices to make themselves known during travel, lest they chance a trampling by a guard on patrol or unsuspecting traveler. During the day, visibility is a bit better but the village remains dark and dreary, the fog has blocked the sun's warming rays (and it's light) and temperatures are expected to drop rapidly over the next few days.
Bundle up, Seedorf..and be aware.. Nothing is ever as it seems.
