Years ago a prophecy was foretold by a sage saying that one day a wizard and a maiden will bear a child and that child will be the savior of our time. And this child will be a great sorceress being able to wield the elements and other forces with such grace and will. She will also gain an ancient artifact that only she can wield. But…after her work is done she will be in a long slumber for her destiny is still being written.
It came to pass that a wizard and a water maiden did bear that child. And by the time she was the ripe age of 10 her father trained her in the art of magick for she had shown signs. Five years past and one day on a visit to a temple with her mother Ukrina stumbled on a stone trident. Being some what enchanted by it she took a hold of it as it came to life. A monk witnessing this knew who she was and what she was destined to be and told her mother who later summoned her father and the two were pleased yet scared at the same time for they knew after this she would be in harms way for the rest of her life. SO the monks took her in to train her magicks further and to provide protection.
Fast forwarding 15 years as Ukrina’s world was in peril; one visit to her parents would be the moment that pushed things into motion. She came to a home that was utterly destroyed and her parents slain by the evil mage that called himself, Mishun. Mishun was so evil that his blood that was pumping through him was black. No one knows his origins, but some say he can’t be stopped.
The battle between Mishun and Ukrina was a long a tough but soon Ukrina prevailed. But Mishun vowed that one day he will return. No one knows when, where, or even how; so knowing what she must do she had the monks prepare her resting place. She sent her trident off into the distance to be found and awakened by her when she was awakened afterwards she said her goodbyes and in the temple which was prepared for her she said the spell that would send her into a deep sleep. After the spell encased her in crystal the temple that houses Ukrina faded away. And for 2,000 years the Temple of Ukrina has yet to be found until now…
