For eight years, there was a war between lands. Only the Glanzen River seperated these fueding houses. The Austerliz and the Furst.
The Regency War, it was named, was a gruesome battle that required Seedorfians to take up arms and march into danger. With Seedorf fighting alongside the Austerliz, they found themselves on the losing side, there were many lives lost and many widows left.
The war has been over for five years now, but it's still a fresh scar in the hearts of many natives who were affected by the deaths of loved ones or friends. There was one good outcome to such a drawn out battle, many of the returning men and women who were required to take up arms are strangers no longer to the tactics of battle. Where Seedorf does not have a local guard unit that patrols the small village, it makes up for in the small population of Regency War Veterans. The closest thing the village and countryside has as local guards is the Night Watch whose main focus is the Nachtwald and her borders.
